    DZ Deathrays

    Alternative Rock

Multi-ARIA Award winning Brisbane two-piece DZ Deathrays have come a long way from the first house party gig that they formed for. Signed to I Oh You in Australia/NZ, and Dine Alone in Canada, and Alcopop in the UK, they have made a lot of ground over the years including winning an ARIA Award each for their first record Bloodstreams (2012) and second record Black Rat (2014). They’ve done multiple sold out tours of Australia, they’ve done 22 international tours with the likes of Blood Red Shoes, Cerebral Ballzy, and Band of Skulls. They’ve played Reading & Leeds, SXSW, CMJ, CMW, The Great Escape internationally and Falls Festival, Splendour In The Grass and Laneway at home. They can even add a stadium tour in support of The Foo Fighters to their bucket list. 2016 saw the release of two stand-alone singles ‘Blood On My Leather’ and ‘Pollyanna’ which they celebrated with a world tour with good mates Dune Rats. In 2017 they shared two tracks from their forthcoming record which saw the single ‘Shred For Summer’ enter the Hottest 100 at #67 and ‘Total Meltdown’ almost make it at #109. Their new record ‘Bloody Lovely’ debuted at #4 in the ARIA Charts and number one in the Australian album charts. Catch tracks from it live as they tour the world in 2018.

  • Waax

    Waax

    Garage Punk

Australia’s most electrifying punk band, Waax, emerged from Brisbane in 2015, possessing an intensity and captivating, barely-controlled chaos that had been missing from the local music scene for years.

Early singles, ‘I For An Eye’ and ‘Wisdom Teeth,’ were fresh and fiercely ambitious, with vocalist Maz De Vita’s unbridled passion and seductively melodic
flow full of hooks. 2017’s Wild & Weak EP saw their popularity grow exponentially off the back of tracks like ‘Same Same’ and ‘This Everything,’ as did their striking reputation as a live band. Radio soon stepped up to the plate and carried these honest and hard-nosed new tunes across the globe.

Now we land at the next phase of their career and the immense new single ‘Labrador.’ It doesn’t take long listening to realise that once again you’re in brand-

new Waax territory in ‘Labrador’ – undeniably the biggest song of their career. Above all else, the focus continues to be drawn to De Vita’s concentrated vocals, sounding smoother and more emotionally raw than ever. “I want to be the voice that I couldn’t hear when I was young,” says De Vita. With songs like ‘Labrador’ in her arsenal, she’s well on her way to achieving that goal.

  • The Gooch Palms

    The Gooch Palms

    Alternative Rock

Since releasing their second album “Introverted Extroverts” back in 2016 The Gooch Palms have been playing their asses off. Touring the big wide world and playing hundreds of lives shows they have continued to perfect the art of their loose as hell total weirdo party! And they’ve had some great company doing it, playing along-side some of their good buddies such as Violent Soho, DZ Deathrays and Skegss as well as over 50 shows across Australia, USA, UK and Europe with their BFFs Dune Rats.

  • Raave Tapes

    Raave Tapes

    Garage Rock

RAAVE TAPES are using their self-branded sparkly dance punk to take the “bro” out of “celebration”, one party at a time. After a fifteen date tour with multiple sold out shows behind them, they’re continuing to take their reputation as a live experience to a national audience.
Following their 2017 singles “2 U XOXO” and “k bye”, RAAVE TAPES have enjoyed strong backing from radio institutions such as Triple J, 4ZZZ, and RTRFM, with both songs gaining a healthy rotation after their release. This national exposure has been amplified by the response to their endearing take on the Saddle Club mythos in the “K Bye” music video, the clip racking up over 100,000 views. This was quickly affirmed by support from bands around the country, supporting the likes of Northeast Party House, Hockey Dad, and The Gooch Palms.

  • Totty

    Totty

    Alternative Rock

TOTTY is a ‘Shed Rock’ band from Wollongong. Brought together by their love of noise rock and loud instruments, the three spent the first year as a band writing and recording music in their trusty shed. From this beginning, TOTTY have moved on to stages across the country in support of their debut single ‘RIFF’ and their follow up ‘SIGH’.

Receiving Triple J and Spotify plays and securing slots on festival lineup s such as Yours & Owls & Sounds of the Suburbs, as well as accompanying acts such as Ruby Fields and Skegss on sold out dates around the country. These experiences have imbued TOTTY with a loud and energetic live set that has built them a reputation as a band to keep an eye on and an ear out for.

  • CRUM

    CRUM

    Punk

Formed in a garage, Gold Coast based trio of dips CRUM deliver powerful rock music calling on elements of early 90’s alternative and grunge. Amongst the driving guitars and heavy drums the group use opposing shifts in song dynamics to unite infectious melody with a more aggressive temper.

The lads cut their teeth playing to mates at house parties and emerged on the live scene with a destructive entourage of followers. CRUM’s boisterous live show is rapidly becoming a must see.
